The Portuguese star along with his fiancée took their vows in front of close friends and family members. As such, the couple finally took the big step after being together for nine years. Both Ronaldo and Georgina have been keeping everyone updated about all aspects of their relationship.

Ronaldo and Georgina announced the news via Instagram without making any official announcements. They broke the news via a short post wherein they had put up a photo of both of them holding each other’s hand while sporting golden wedding rings. The simple caption on their Instagram post included “C <3 G”. However, the announcement gained an unbelievable amount of engagement, with close to a million likes garnered within a couple of hours.
On the other hand, Cristiano Ronaldo tied the knot with his fiancée, Georgina Rodriguez, through a civil wedding ceremony that took place in Cascais. Cascais lies 32 kilometres away from Lisbon and boasts of a beautiful location near beaches with a laid-back ambiance.
Notably, all the five kids attended the ceremony. Hence, it can be assumed that the occasion was highly exclusive, especially since both stars attended the wedding.
According to sources quoted by Daily Mail, Cristiano Ronaldo's spokesman confirmed this development with a statement saying that, "Today Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez got married in a civil wedding in Cascais, Portugal." The representative mentioned that the couple held the ceremony privately, with only their five children being present.

The wedding is significant for both individuals, as it caps off a ten-year long journey into marriage . It would also be worth mentioning that Ronaldo and Georgina met in September 2016, with Georgina working at Gucci in Madrid at the time. In January 2017, the duo made a public announcement about being romantically involved, after which they progressed further and even had some offspring together.
Georgina naturally bore two of their children, namely Alana Martina and Bella Esmeralda. On the other hand, Ronaldo has Cristiano Jr as his firstborn son, along with twins called Mateo and Eva completing the siblings’ group. However, there was yet another tragedy for the footballer, as the family lost one of their twins named Angel, born prematurely, in 2022.
It should be recalled that today, Cristiano Ronaldo is 41 years old and continues playing an important part in his team Al Nassr, which competes in the Saudi Pro League. Moreover, the footballer stated that his retirement will take place after the present championship, which implies that his final appearance in national colors will occur at the FIFA World Cup 2026.
