MG Pakistan Launches All-New MG ZS With Hybrid Power and Premium Features

LAHORE: All-New MG ZS makes its entry into the country through MG Pakistan as the automaker unveils its new MG ZS in Pakistan, marking the All-New MG ZS as the newest addition to the company’s modern lineup of B-SUVs that aim to deliver best-in-class mobility solutions to this class of vehicles.

Designed for those seeking something more out of their daily commute, the All-New MG ZS combines the practicality of an SUV along with safety, technology, efficiency, and a more luxurious ownership experience. The car has been launched in Pakistan as a robust lifestyle upgrade aimed at owners of sedans and traditional compact SUVs who wish to upgrade themselves to a more modern category of vehicles. As MG claims, this car is a result of the company’s larger strategy of providing stylish yet practical vehicles with a global standard of comfort and safety.

As MG Pakistan introduces new MG ZS variants across the country, there would be three variants in total for this series of cars, namely MG ZS Vibe Petrol, MG ZS Hybrid+ Excite, and MG ZS Hybrid+ Essence. These different tiers will allow customers to have the option of selecting a variant according to their budget and performance requirements.

The Vibe Petrol comes with the 1.5L naturally-aspirated petrol engine combined with a CVT gearbox, providing a more classic and traditional driving experience. The Hybrid+ Excite and Hybrid+ Essence variants come with the revolutionary Hybrid+ 1.5L engine from MG, which is combined with a unique 3-speed hybrid gearbox. This Hybrid+ powertrain produces a total of 158 kW power and 465 Nm torque, giving drivers the opportunity to experience driving in the electric-first regime along with increased efficiency.

As MG Pakistan unveils its new MG ZS price alongside the model itself, the three versions have been priced at Rs 6,599,000 for Vibe Petrol version, Rs 7,099,000 for the Hybrid+ Excite variant and Rs 7,499,000 for the Hybrid+ Essence model. The booking is now available across the country through all MG showrooms and official booking portal with an initial booking fee of PKR 1,200,000.

Now that the launch of MG Pakistan's latest model MG ZS has been made official, this means that the automaker introduces new competition for its peers in the B-SUV class of Pakistan as hybrid vehicles become more popular amongst buyers looking to improve their fuel economy without making the move to a full-electric vehicle.
