Treet Battery NeoPower launch officially pushed the company into Pakistan’s fast-growing lithium-ion energy storage market
LAHORE: Treet Battery Limited made a significant move on Wednesday. The company formally launched its lithium-ion battery product line under the brand name Lithion NeoPower. The announcement reached the Pakistan Stock Exchange through a material information filing the clearest signal yet that Pakistan’s oldest battery manufacturer is pivoting toward next-generation energy storage.
The announcement marks a major strategic move by the company as it expands beyond conventional battery products and positions itself in Pakistan’s rapidly evolving clean energy and energy storage sector.
In the notice sent to the PSX on May 13, 2026, Treet Battery stated that the new product line reflects the company’s continued focus on innovation, product diversification, and advanced energy storage technologies
The Product Line
The first product line is the RESS Series. This series consists of rooftop solar PV, hybrid inverters, batteries, and intelligent energy management systems. The combination of all these things addresses a genuine need for Pakistani households that are struggling to pay for load shedding costs.

The second line targets a different but equally large market. The Lead-Acid Replacement Series is an explicit challenge to existing battery technologies. The new series makes use of innovative lithium cell technology and better battery management systems to provide high energy efficiency, longevity, and reliability. The existing lead acid batteries that have been in use in Pakistan for years now have competition in their own backyard.
his is not a small product tweak. Treet Battery built its reputation over decades on conventional battery chemistry. Stepping into lithium-ion territory means new manufacturing processes, new supply chains, and new customer education. The company clearly believes the demand justifies the investment.
That demand is real and growing fast. Pakistan’s energy crisis has turbocharged the home solar and storage market. Millions of households now run solar panel systems. Reliable battery storage remains the weakest link. Imported lithium batteries dominate but carry heavy price tags inflated by currency depreciation and import duties. A credible local alternative changes the equation.
Treet Battery frames the Lithion NeoPower launch as complementary to its existing business. The firm claims that it enhances its portfolio and sets itself up to cater to both residential and commercial markets. It will be interesting to see how investors and analysts will track the timing and capacity involved in generating revenues, something not disclosed in the PSX release.
But the more significant message cannot be missed. The battery industry of Pakistan is about to enter a new era. Treet Battery chose to lead that transition rather than react to it. Whether Lithion NeoPower captures meaningful market share against entrenched imported brands will define the company’s growth story for the next decade.
