LAHORE: A turning point for public acceptance of electronic governance has been achieved in Pakistan. The use of digital services provided by NADRA has created a record of registration and consequently made the download record of the official PakID application exceed 18.1 million.
As per statistical data, a significant amount of this digital revolution occurred during a recent span of only seven months, resulting in no fewer than 8.17 million additional downloads on the network. This quick shift from traditional, paper-based methods of registration is indicative of increasing trust in remote biometric identification systems.
