Chery Master Pakistan Eyes 3 New Models After Auto China 2026

KARACHI: Chery Master Pakistan, the locally introduced brand under Master Auto Engineering, a subsidiary of the Master Group carrying over six decades of industrial and automotive legacy is eyeing the addition of multiple new models to its local portfolio. The company’s intent follows its strong presence at Auto China 2026, where its leadership held direct engagements with Chery’s global management and reviewed the Chinese automaker’s next-generation product and technology roadmap.

Expanding on the company’s increasing footprint in Pakistan within the developing NEV industry, the firm is considering introducing two to three more vehicles in the future, namely Tiggo 4 HEV, QQ BEV, and Tiggo V, which demonstrate the company’s strategy for offering vehicles based on hybrids, batteries, and multipurpose use.

This is justified by the fact that Chery’s global strategy entails launching 13 new models within the next two years through its gasoline, hybrid, and electric vehicles range of sports utility, sedans, urban, and pickups vehicle categories.

The significance of these classes for Pakistan is increasing day by day since the people are now looking for cars that can save on fuel and are technologically advanced.

The auto show Auto China 2026 hosted the launch of Chery’s new product line, the QQ BEV. An elegant electric cars that allows you to effortlessly cruise around in the midst of the hustle and bustle of city traffic without even having a thought regarding the cost of gas. Capable of traveling up to 410 kilometers on a single charge, it is the sort of car that can do justice to its name. It will fit well among the traffic of busy city like Karachi, the circular traffic intersections of Lahore, and the open roads of Islamabad at affordable rates and in a small size.

And then there’s the Tiggo V – but this one takes a very different direction. This one does not play well in confinement because, in truth, it does not even belong there. This is an SUV in some ways, an MPV in others, with a little bit of a pick-up truck included on the side. The Tiggo V was designed for those who do not want to be confined to one type of lifestyle alone.

Chery’s new Tiggo 4 HEV product line offers another entry into the hybrid vehicle category that is more affordable. As Pakistani consumers increasingly prefer fuel-efficient vehicles and the country still lacks widespread EV infrastructure, products like these could play a major role in accelerating local NEV adoption.

Currently, Chery has over 19 million users across 130 nations, and for every four cars exported from China, one is a Chery. This highlights the company’s increasing dominance in exporting.

Chery Master Pakistan has created the largest CKD hybrid SUV range in the market in Pakistan. Chery positions the Tiggo 9 PHEV as its flagship plug-in hybrid E-SUV, offers the Tiggo 8 PHEV as the only plug-in hybrid seven-seater D-SUV, and presents the Tiggo 7 PHEV as a premium five-seater C-segment SUV.

Commenting on the future of the company, Samir Malik, CEO of Chery Master Pakistan, said, “Pakistan continues to be a significant market for us when it comes to our advanced mobility solutions, saying that we are concentrating on developing products based on Pakistan’s terrain and consumer demands.”
