KARACHI: GPX Motorcycles are officially heading to Pakistan as Thailand’s leading premium motorcycle manufacturer enters the local market through a strategic partnership with Royal Power Pakistan. Operating under the RoyalGPX brand, the company plans to launch premium commuter motorcycles, sports bikes, retro models, and electric bikes from June 2026.
This collaboration was sealed through an agreement made between Royal Power Pakistan, whose CEO is well-known business personality Navaid Pirani, and GPX, whose owner and founder is Chaiyos. This agreement was witnessed by key management figures Alex and Apichart. This joint venture will be carried out under the brand name of RoyalGPX.
The agreement signals GPX’s first formal entry into Pakistan, a market traditionally dominated by Japanese and Chinese brands. Industry observers believe the arrival of GPX could intensify competition in the rapidly growing premium motorcycle segment.
GPX Motorcycles Targets Pakistan’s Emerging Premium Market
Unlike the other local manufacturers, which are mostly involved in manufacturing economy motorcycles, RoyalGPX intends to manufacture premium commuter, sports, retro, and electric motorcycles. These motorcycles are planned to be released starting from June 2026 in various capacities.

The first range of motorcycles will involve 125cc and 150cc motorcycles designed for city riding customers who will enjoy the latest designs, technology, and construction. Additionally, RoyalGPX intends to develop 200cc and 250cc motorcycles for the performance seekers who will be provided with premium performance bikes without having to pay huge sums of money like for imported motorcycles.
As far as the international market is concerned, GPX has achieved fame by introducing bikes like the Demon line and the Legend series, both of which are examples of bikes with unique styling coupled with innovative technology. The company’s bikes are equipped with LED lights, digital dashboards, superior suspension mechanisms, and sporty styling features.
Not only will the company be providing motorcycles that run on gasoline, but it also plans to venture into the domain of electric bikes in Pakistan.
A Proven Brand With Strong Regional Credentials
Since its establishment in 2007, GPX has grown to become Thailand’s most prominent motorcycle manufacturer. GPX gained massive popularity by booking the highest positions for its motorcycles during the Thailand Motor Expo year after year, going head-to-head with major Japanese brands.
The success of GPX lies in manufacturing motorcycles that have premium features without being extremely expensive. Currently, GPX has a large number of motorcycles in its portfolio, which include sports, café racer, naked bikes, cruisers, and commuter types.
Expected Prices in Pakistan
Although RoyalGPX has not revealed official Pakistani pricing, industry estimates suggest that locally assembled models could remain competitive. Based on current GPX prices in Thailand and Pakistan’s existing market dynamics, analysts expect:
- 125cc–150cc models: Rs 450,000 to Rs 650,000
- 200cc motorcycles: Rs 700,000 to Rs 900,000
- 250cc premium models: Rs 950,000 to Rs 1.4 million
- Electric motorcycles: Rs 350,000 to Rs 800,000 depending on battery specifications
As an example, the GPX Legend 250 Twin is priced at about 88,500-90,000 Thai Baht in Thailand which is approximately Rs 730,000-Rs 740,000 in pre-duty prices.
Can RoyalGPX Challenge the Market Leaders?
The market for high-end motorcycles in Pakistan has gradually grown over the last few years; however, customers have very little options. Yamaha and Suzuki motorcycles are prevalent in the high-end commuting class, whereas sports and vintage motorcycles rely heavily on costly imports.
RoyalGPX launches itself in an era where modern technologies and safety elements become increasingly important needs of the Pakistani motorcycle users. RoyalGPX may become one of the key players in the 150-250cc market range if it can ensure efficient production and remains competitive in terms of pricing.
The official launch of RoyalGPX is planned for June 2026.
