NAGPUR: A young girl of 24 years, married to an Indian Air Force officer, has filed a strong case of rape, extortion, and blackmail against her old school friend along with his accomplices in Nagpur. The police have already apprehended two of them whereas the third one is currently being searched in Madhya Pradesh.
The complaint made by the victim
According to her own statement that she gave to the police, the events unfolded because she had gone to attend a meeting at the hotel on the 8th of February, 2025. The accused drugged her drink with a toxic substance. The men photographed and recorded videos of the complainant while she was unconscious. It is alleged that after the complainant was aware of the existence of such materials, the accused forced her into sexual assault by threatening to release the videos and photos unless she did what they asked of her.
Claims of black magic and psychological manipulation
Apart from the aforementioned charges of physical and financial abuse, the complainant has claimed that she felt herself to be subjected to some sort of psychological or even supernatural manipulation. The Indian police have made the claim regarding black magic part of the case along with charges of rape, blackmail, and extortion. It is noteworthy how unusual it is to find all these charges in one criminal case due to the nature of the accusations.

Where the investigation has reached
The legal authorities have filed a case against the accused in several clauses of law, which include sexual abuse, blackmailing, extortion, as well as involvement in black magic practices.
