Huawei Introduces World’s Thinnest Tablet, Beats iPad and Samsung

The Huawei MatePad Pro Max has officially become the world’s thinnest tablet, beating the Apple iPad Pro and Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 with a stunning 4.7mm ultra-slim design.

Huawei has just made a bold statement. Launched recently, the new Huawei MatePad Pro Max is not only going to rival Apple’s iPad Pro, but it will beat it at its own game in three aspects of importance to high-end tablet users: design, screen, and battery performance. Huawei unveiled the Huawei MatePad Pro Max during its global “Now Is Your Spark” launch event in Bangko

World’s Thinnest Tablet Body

And how did it manage to do so? Huawei achieved this ultra-thin design through its exclusive Cloud Falcon Architecture, which combines a sleek profile with a durable full-metal body. The company also strengthened its credibility after the Huawei MatePad Pro Max received the TÜV Rheinland Ultra-Thin Bending Resistance Certification, making it the world’s first tablet to achieve this milestone. The device not only looks incredibly slim but also delivers impressive structural durability. It is not only a thin tablet but a tough one.

A Display That Redefines Tablet Viewing

The second major win comes from the screen. Huawei equipped the Huawei MatePad Pro Max with an OLED PaperMatte display that uses advanced nano-level etching technology to reduce glare and improve visual clarity.. This reduces the problem of light reflection and glitter by a large margin, while increasing resolution by 20%, resulting in brighter and more colorful images.

And what about the bezels? Well, only 3.5mm! One of the narrowest on the market today. But wait, there’s even more. Huawei decided to remove the selfie camera notch altogether. It was seamlessly integrated into the display screen with absolutely no cutout at all. That’s something not even Apple has managed to accomplish on its iPad Pro.

Bigger Battery, Smarter Charging

Battery capacity of 10,290mAh has been included in the latest iPad Pro M5. However, there is something else which makes us look beyond it as Huawei also claims to have a battery capacity of 10,400mAh in its MatePad Pro Max which can be used to watch local videos continuously for up to 14.5 hours.

But having only a large capacity battery is not the end of it all. Huawei also added 40W reverse charging support to the Huawei MatePad Pro Max, allowing users to charge smartphones and other electronic devices directly from the tablet

The Bigger Picture

The MatePad Pro Max signals a shift in the premium tablet market. Huawei isn’t chasing Apple anymore it’s setting its own benchmarks. From the world-record thin chassis to the glare-resistant OLED display and the market-leading battery combination, this device brings three concrete, measurable advantages over the iPad Pro.

For anyone who thought Huawei had stepped back from flagship hardware competition, the MatePad Pro Max says otherwise loudly.
